Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Depression

If you suffer with depression, MBCT can be an effective addition to therapy. In the 8-week course, you can learn to develop skills to help identify and release old conditioned habits, thought processes and emotional reactivity. You can cultivate a new sense of awareness and self-knowledge that can help in dealing with your own inner processes, as well as conditions and relationships in your daily life.

This work with depression is designed to help you avoid relapse, not to treat acute depression. It is available on an individual basis or in small classses.

This is not a substitute for your therapy, but a supplement. Coordination with your therapist is part of the program.
